PARKING:

A small cash fee for parking will support local organizations such as youth sports, church groups, and school clubs who assist as parking attendants. Parking is available just outside the main entrance, as vehicles are not permitted on the grounds. Handicapped spaces near the main gate are reserved for those in need. Vehicle owners are responsible for their vehicles' safety and courteous parking behavior.

ALCOHOL POLICY:

Designated vendors will offer alcoholic beverages for purchase. Guests must be of legal drinking age (21 in Wisconsin) and present valid photo ID. We encourage responsible alcohol consumption, as this is a family-friendly event. The festival reserves the right to refuse alcohol sales and remove disruptive patrons. Minors are only allowed in tavern areas with a parent, legal guardian, or of-age spouse. No outside alcohol is permitted.

PHOTO/VIDEO WAIVER:

Upon entering Newbourne Village, guests and participants consent to photography and videography for promotional, advertising, security, and documentation purposes. The festival reserves the right to use images for these purposes.

COSTUMES:

Guests are encouraged to dress in costumes, embracing styles from Medieval, Renaissance, to Fantasy themes, particularly from circa 1560 through 1585.

ORIGIN OF THE NAME NEWBOURNE:

The name Newbourne reflects a blend of realism and fairytale charm, inspired by Old English spelling conventions. It distinguishes our festival's rebirth while honoring its historical roots and fostering a sense of fantasy and renewal.

ATM MACHINES:

An ATM is available onsite. While most vendors accept credit cards, not all do.

PATRON PETS:

Only service dogs are allowed on the festival grounds, and owners are responsible for their service dog's conduct.

WEAPONS POLICY:

Firearms are strictly prohibited, and all other weapons must be peace-tied to prevent drawing or wielding. Failure to comply will result in ejection from the fair.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & PERSONAL HEALTH RESPONSIBILITY:

Attendees are responsible for their personal health and safety, including acquiring necessary assistance. By attending, guests acknowledge and assume all risks, including exposure to communicable diseases such as Covid-19, and waive any claims against the festival and its affiliates related to such risks. Basic first aid kits are available on site for minor injuries, while major health incidents should prompt a call to emergency services.
